UVCEGA SubCommittees

The UVCEGA is glad to announce the formation of key subcommittees to drive various initiatives aimed at strengthening our alumni association and its connection with the college. We invite enthusiastic UVCEGA members to volunteer and be part of these subcommittees:

List of SubCommittees

  • Academia Relations: Foster connections between alumni in academia and enable collaborations with the college. (Chair: Muralidhara G V, 1978)
  • Industry Collaboration: Engage industry partners for research, recruitment, and projects with the college. (Chair: Srikanth M A, 1993)
  • Membership & Governance: Lead membership drives and oversee the governance model of UVCEGA. (Chair: Lt Sukumar Rao (Retd.), 1984)
  • Events and Alumni Connect: Plan and execute events to bring alumni together. (Chair: Satish A G, 2009)
  • Sponsorship & Fundraising: Support fundraising initiatives and build a corpus for various programs. (Chair: Srikanth M A, 1993)
  • Communication: Manage social media, press relations, and overall brand awareness. (Chair: Meghashree G, 2016)
  • MARVEL & Student Connect: Lead and expand the MARVEL R&D lab initiatives and interact with students. (Chair: Adrian P Isaac, 2023)
  • Entrepreneurship: Build and support an alumni entrepreneur network. (Chair: Sridhara Aghalaya, 1987)

Our Appeal

As stated in our Mission, we wish to reach out to the UVCE Graduates and engage them in "Giving Back" to the alma-mater. This is to provide goodwill and support in order to achieve the institution's goals. We felt that the expertise and experience of our alumni should be utilized in an effective manner.

Plea to you:
  • We will request you to spend atleast 2 hrs/ month once you are part of any SubCommittee.
  • The ask is to communicate on a regular basis with the Chair and also other committee members.
  • Feel free to reach out to any other alumni whom you know that might be interested towards these topics.
  • Work with the Chair on creating an action plan and roadmap for the specific focus point of the SubCommittee.
  • We welcome everyone to join hands towards the UVCEGA initiatives in order to strengthen the alumni community
